Carmen Huber and Claus Rinner of Ryerson Univesity undertook an exploratory study.  They were interested in the potential real-estate damage in the event of a volatile crude oilfire or explosion within the City of Toronto.  Please keep in mind that this is only cost from real-estate damage and does not include loss of life, medical treatment for injuries, emergency response costs or loss of business expenses.
