Transport Canada's culture of secrecy around rail safety is highlighted in this CBC investigative report.  Our very own Patricia Lai spoke of our frustration in not being able to get answers of the risks posed to communities across Canada.  Canadians who live in rail communities throughout Canada are taking on the risk to both public safety and the public purse, yet are not given information about what those risks are!  Safe Rail Communities have submitted a letter of complaint to the Information commissioner through our lawyer, Charles Hatt (Ecojustice).
